ZOOM LENS OF REAR FOCUS TYPE AND VIDEO CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens of rear focus type capable of securing the same operability with a zoom lens of front focus type generally used in video cameras for business purpose without using a clutch mechanism, and to provide a video camera equipped with the zoom lens of rear focus type. SOLUTION: The zoom lens of rear focus type is allowed to regulate and deregulate respective rotations of a zoom ring 11 to the wide angle direction A and the telephoto direction B independently with a wide directional rotation regulating means 21 and a tele directional rotation regulating means 22 on arbitrary rotation positions in the wide angle direction A and the telephoto direction B of the zoom ring 11, when the zoom ring 11 is rotated in the wide angle direction A and the telephoto direction B.
