VARIABLE CAPACITY ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity rotary compressor which suppresses the slip of an eccentric bush at the time of performing compression so as to prevent noise caused by collision and which can increase the durability of the instruments. SOLUTION: The variable capacity rotary compressor comprises a housing in which a first compression chamber and a second compression chamber having capacities different from each other are formed, a rotary shaft arranged in the interiors of the first and second compression chambers, a first and second eccentric cams respectively attached to the outer surface of the rotary shaft within the first and second compression chambers, a first and second eccentric bushes rotatably attached to the outer surfaces of the first and second eccentric cams, a lock device for locking the first and second eccentric bushes in such a state that the first and second eccentric bushes are eccentric with each other or are released from being eccentric with each other according to the change of the rotating direction of the rotary shaft, and an arresting device which arrests the eccentric bush while projecting outwardly from the rotary shaft by centrifugal force when the rotary shaft rotates.
