HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE FOLDING TABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base structure, e.g., a table, a chair or the like, which is free from incongruousness by avoiding exposure of a folding mechanism or the like. SOLUTION: The height adjustable folding base structure has legs 3 faced to each other provided on the right and left of the underside of a top board 1. The basal structure is improved by making the legs 3 foldable by folding and turning inward. The basal structure is provided with a slide member 7 permitting the folding of the legs 3 during sliding upward and sliding down along the legs 3 with the legs 3 spread and retaining the spread posture of the legs 3 inside the right and left legs 3. Guide portions 6 guiding the rise and fall of the slide member 7 is provided between the insides of the right and left legs 3 and between the two ends of the slide member 7 when the legs are spread.
