Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device in which dust in the magnetic disk device and dust adhering to the surface of magnetic disks are reduced and error faults are prevented. SOLUTION: In the magnetic disk device, opening sections 201 which become air intake ports and grooves 202 which become air flow paths from the opening sections 201 in the spindle shaft direction are provided on a spindle hub 102. Moreover, opening section 203 are provided for disk spacers 207 to blow air, that flows from the opening sections 201 of the spindle hub 102 through the grooves 202, between magnetic disks 103. Filters 204 and 205 are provided on the opening sections 203 of the disk spacers 207 and the grooves 202 of the spindle hub 102 to catch dust. Projected and recessed shapes are provided on the outer peripherals of the spacers 207 to make air flow to the outer peripheral direction from the disk inner peripheral by the rotation of the disk spacers 207 so as to reduce dust inside the device and dust adhered on the disks 103.
