PERIPHERY MONITORING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in a periphery monitoring device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The periphery monitoring device for the vehicle is provided with a camera 31 carrying out image pickup of a periphery of the vehicle 1, a display device 32 provided in the vehicle 1 and capable of displaying an image picked up by the camera 31, a navigation device 21 detecting a distance to the most nearest temporary stop point in a traveling direction of the vehicle 1, and calculating position states of a plurality of GPS satellites 50, and an ECU 24 displaying the image picked up by the camera 31 in the display device 32 on the basis of the position states calculated by the navigation device 21 when the distance detected by the navigation device 21 is a preset predetermined distance or less.
