DUPLEX SYSTEM, AND ITS DATA REDUNDANCY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex system and its data redundancy method inexpensively carrying out the redundancy of data by a simple configuration and without providing a shared storing means, minimizing a time until an operation start after changing over to an operation system from a standby system, and allowing an easy change from a single system to a duplex system. SOLUTION: The duplex system 10 is provided with two devices 100 and 200 doubled into hot standby configurations and mutually operating as an operation system and a standby system, and a channel of a network 300 mutually connecting both devices, and composed so that by sending redundancy target data 120 necessary for operation to the standby system device from the operation system device 100 via the channel of the network, the standby system device carries out the redundancy of the data on the basis of the received redundancy target data necessary for operation, and pieces of data necessary for operation in both the devices are matched with each other.
