BASE FOR MICROSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for a microscope for supporting a microscope in a stable state. SOLUTION: The base 1 for the microscope is equipped with a fixed base 5 standing on a floor surface and arranging the microscope at a specified position, and a movable base 6 freely moving in an up-and-down direction with respect to the base 5 and moving in a downward direction so as to make the base 5 float from the floor surface. A leg part 3 having an upper leg member and a lower leg member coming into contact with each other through spherical projecting surface and recessed surface which are in complementary relation is provided on the base 5. By such constitution, when moving the base 6 in an upward direction with respect to the base 5 from a state where the base 5 floats from the floor surface and making the leg part 3 provided on the base 5 stand on the floor surface, the leg part 3 stands on the floor surface in a state where it follows up the wobbling of the floor surface, for example, even though the floor surface wobbles.
