IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good color electronic photographing image using a tandem image forming apparatus using an intermediate transfer body, to provide an electronic photographing system image forming apparatus for reproducing a color image with good freshness and a fresh color phase by improving reproduction of a black dot image of the tandem color image forming apparatus, making a character image and quality of a color image compatible, and at the same time, preventing image defect such as a transfer void and a black spot, in particular, in a-number-of-image formation, and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, the turbidity of each color toner used for a developing means of four groups of an image forming unit is less than 60, a turbidity difference between pieces of color toner is 5-45 at the maximum, and the developing means contain black toner of less than 25 of turbidity in an electronic photographing photoreceptor of a black image forming unit being an amorphous silicon based photoreceptor.
