After the polished rice is left for a predetermined time (approximately 20 minutes), a scanner 34 picks up an image of the polished rice 56 (measures a light from the polished rice 56). An actual image data and a pseudo image data are acquired based on the measured data. The pseudo image data is acquired by enlarging/reducing the actual image data.
