Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of cylinders for an internal combustion engine capable of precisely manufacturing the cylinders for the internal combustion engine at low costs by using a die casting method, such as a high-pressure die casting method, without causing deterioration of thermal conductivity and problems, such as deformation and peeling, and of preventing relative displacement between scavenge ports, intake ports and exhaust ports of the cylinders to be obtained. SOLUTION: This invention is the manufacturing method of the cylinder (1) for the internal combustion engine provided with hollow scavenge passages (14, 15) with inner walls (18, 19) where the scavenge ports (16, 17) opened/closed by a piston (60) are formed. A cylinder liner (2B) comprised of an aluminum alloy pipe where the scavenge ports (16, 17) are formed and a bore core die (50) and cores (55, 56) for the scavenge passages having no collapsibility and shaped so as not to enter into the scavenge ports (16, 17) are prepared beforehand. The cylinder liner (2B) is set to the bore core die (50), and a cylinder main body part (2A) made of aluminum alloy is founded in the outer peripheral side in the die casting method.
