Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin member having a photocatalytic function, especially a synthetic resin member not causing a crack in its photocatalyst layer, and a film using it. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin member having the photocatalytic function is constituted by forming the photocatalyst layer 4 with a thckness of 5-35 nm on the surface of a synthetic resin base material 1. Since the photocatalyst layer 4 has a reduced thickness of 5-35 nm, the residual stress in the photocatalyst layer 4 is small and, even if the synthetic resin base material is thermally extended and contracted by applying heat to the member, the stress in the photocatalyst layer 4 is not increased to a stress causing a crack and the crack is not caused in the photocatalyst layer 4.
