Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kapok plant fiber powder-containing food product that can eliminate excessive fat components in the body, prevent obesity and normalize neutral fat in no need of diet food by solving the problem that conventional vegetable fibers used in food products absorb not only fat and oil but also water and is not suitable for retaining water content and removing fat components, thus excessive saturated fatty acids are accumulated in the body and cannot be discharged out of the body to cause obesty and lipemia. SOLUTION: Kapok as, a kind of vegetable fiber, is powdered and added to bread, cookie and other western-type and Japanese type confectioneries. In other cases, the kapok powder is tableted so that it may be made readily ingestible.
