SYSTEM FOR MANAGING TECHNOLOGY OWNED BY ITS OWN COMPANY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing a technology owned by its own company for improving the appropriate transfer or technology standards of human resources, or for efficiently developing new products by excluding overlapped technology development, and for efficiently filling up skill deficiency. SOLUTION: This system for managing a technology owned by its own company is provided with a personal skill map database to execute the self-evaluation of a skill owned by each of engineers for engineering technology items, and to register the self-evaluation points of his or her skill as personal skill map data and a product-categorized skill map database to associate technology items necessary for commercialization with the engineering technology items regarding their significance based on coefficients for each of the technology items necessary for commercialization, and to register skill coefficient values as product-categorized skill map data for each product. Then, skill evaluation in the technology owned by its own company is executed through analysis and tabulation for each engineer or/and each product based on the self-evaluation points of the personal skill map data and the skill coefficient values of the product-categorized skill map data.
