Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To "surely and stably" pick up a locking signal or a door closing signal, even if dimensions of a gap between two planes are changed depending on a rebound which occurs when a sliding door is rapidly closed while the number of components is reduced. SOLUTION: On/off mechanisms Z, Z1 and Z2 for a switch of a sliding door lock X are constituted in such a manner that a control device picks up an operation signal of the switch when the door is closed by making a door end collide with a door frame. The on/off mechanism for the switch comprises: the switch 38 which is arranged inside a strike box 3; control bodies 36, 36A and 36B which have an on/off control surface 36a brought into sliding contact with a movable contact piece 39 of the switch, or an inner end for turning on/off the switch, and which are provided in a receiving fitting Y in a horizontally movable manner in the state of being urged outward by means of an internally mounted spring 37; slide driving plates 32 which are provided in lock cases 10, 10A and 10B and which move based on an operation of an operation piece 31, when the door is closed; and a horizontal operation rod 35 which is provided in the lock box so as to advance from the lock box by a driving force of the driving plate. The horizontal operation rod is constituted in such a manner that the control body is pushed in so that the switch can be put into an on-state, even if the dimensions of the gap between the two planes are changed.
