The device is provided with a transferring means 72 transferring the plate-like member 6 to the chute 58, and the plate-like member 6 is in contact with the contact part 58d of the chute 58 by the transferring means 72 while the center of gravity thereof is deviated, thereby dropping the plate-like member 6 in the passage of the chute 58 to be inserted between the containers 4 in the longitudinal direction.
