Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold forging method of a pinion gear by which energy is saved and which is excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: This method is a cold forging method of the pinion gear by which the pinion gear is formed on the outer periphery of a gear base stock by cold forging and the method is achieved by preliminarily hollowing at least the width of a gear forming range of the gear base stock and forming it while absorbing plastic deformation pressure at forming the gear by the hollow part.
