SOLAR CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side light receiving type solar cell easy in forming an electrode, and to provide a method of manufacturing the solar cell. SOLUTION: A first solid impurity diffusing source 2A is formed on the whole area of one surface of a semiconductor substrate 1, and a second solid impurity diffusing source 2B is formed on the other surface of the substrate 1 in a state that the source 2B is patterned to have openings. Directly under the solid impurity diffusing sources 2A and 2B, impurity diffusing layers 3A and 3B are formed. Emitter electrodes 6 are formed on the impurity diffusing layers 3A and 3B, and collector electrodes 4 are formed in the openings of the solid impurity diffusing source 2B.
