Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating chamber by which the temperature of a running endless metallic belt can efficiently and quickly be elevated without variation of temperature distribution in a belt width direction and further energy consumption can be minimized, and also to provide the endless belt heating method and device using the chamber. SOLUTION: The heating chamber comprises a double box. A first chamber has an open face opposite to the endless belt, and the steam exhaust ports connected to an outside steam suction source. A second chamber has at least one steam ejection nozzle at the open face side of the first chamber and has a steam introduction port connected to an outside steam source. The steam having a required temperature is introduced into the second chamber through the steam introduction port and is ejected from the steam ejection nozzle toward the unprocessed face of the running endless belt. The steam ejected to the belt is discharged from the steam exhaust port of the first chamber through the gap formed between the first and second chambers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
