FOLDABLE ANTENNA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system foldable as required wherein a plurality of cables extended between a plurality of antennas and a wireless module are not entangled when the system is folded. SOLUTION: In the antenna system, an upper cabinet 2 is pivotally supported on a lower cabinet 4 via a hinge mechanism 3, the lower cabinet 4 contains the wireless module 41, and the upper cabinet 2 is provided with the plurality of antennas 21. The hinge mechanism 3 is provided with a cylindrical shaft member 31 for coupling both cabinets 2, 4 to each other in an openable/closable manner, and a plurality of grooves 32 are formed on the circumferential surface of the shaft member 31 at an interval in the axial direction. The plurality of cables 22 are wound on the circumferential surface of the shaft member 31 while being respectively fitted to the plurality of grooves 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
