PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system for collecting a charge from a customer when providing information for a commodity, and performing a processing for purchase of the commodity or the like based on the charge. SOLUTION: This system comprises a link information reading means for reading link information from a printing medium showing summary information for the commodity and an identification number showing the link to detailed information of the commodity; a detailed information acquisition means for acquiring detailed information for the commodity based on the read link information; a commodity information providing means for image-forming the acquired detailed information on a printing medium; and a charge collection means for collecting the charge at the time of the image formation of the information.
