OXIME ESTER COMPOUND AND PHOTOPOLYMERIZATION INITIATOR CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerization initiator having high sensitivity and free from the problems of the discoloration of a polymer and the contamination of a polymer, apparatus, etc. SOLUTION: The oxime ester compound is expressed by general formula (I) (X is a halogen atom; n is 1-5; R1is R, OR, COR, SR, CONRR' or CN; R2is R, OR, COR, SR or NRR'; R3is R, OR, COR, SR or NRR'; R and R' are each an alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl or a heterocyclic group; these alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group and heterocyclic group may be substituted with halogen atoms or heterocyclic groups; the alkylene part of the alkyl group and the aralkyl group may be interrupted with an unsaturated bond, an ether bond, a thioether bond or an ester bond; and R and R' may together form a ring).
