BAG AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a bag with the reduced number of processes by inserting a bottom member in the opening of a tubular body without unfolding the opening of the tubular body and by mounting the bottom member on the tubular body without the bottom member protruding from the body or being displaced. SOLUTION: This bag 1 is provided with a tubular part having a pair of side face walls 10 folded inward in two and a bottom face wall closing at least one opening 5 of the tubular part. The method for manufacturing the bag 1 comprises: a bottom member receiving part forming process (A) for forming a bottom member receiving part 7A for receiving a bottom face wall forming bottom member 20 and for positioning on both side ends of a tubular body 2A forming the tubular part; a bottom member positioning process (C) for positioning the member 20 by folding both short sides of the member 20 in a boat-form to be inserted in the opening 5 for a boat-form folded part 29 to hit the receiving part 7A; and a bottom member heat sealing process (E) for heat sealing the opening end edge 5a of the tubular body 2A and the peripheral edge 21 of the bottom ember 21.
