Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording and reproducing device which correctly performs reserved video recording even when a video recording destination drive is used for the other task when the reserved video recording is started. SOLUTION: Whether or not the recording destination drive is accessed by the other task for recorded data shifting or copying is decided among a plurality of recording drives when the reserved video recording task is started in the case video recording is reserved (step S2). When the video recording destination drive is accessed by the other task, the other task accessing the recording destination drive is stopped to make the video recording destination drive video recordable with the reserved video recording task (step S4).
