Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for testing conductivity of Ethernet in an arbitrary test section from a terminal. SOLUTION: Terminals 1101a and 1101b transmits a test frame 501 having a specified octet length or longer to test sections 502a-502c, bridges 551 and 552 other than test object in the test sections 502a-502c receive and pass the test frame 501, a bridge 553 becoming a test object receives and discards the test frame 501 and counts it as an overframe, a server 1106 compares the number of test frames 501 transmitted from the terminals 1101a and 110b with the number of overframes counted by the bridge 553 and confirms conductivity based on the comparison results.
