Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for an optical recording medium capable of forming a coating layer which is resistant to staining and flawing at a low cost, and provide a coating device, etc. SOLUTION: The excess used coating material 12A for the optical recording medium detached from the top of a light transmission layer 14 is recovered and is filtered by filtration equipment 20 provided with a first depth filter 40 of a catching grain size (within a range of 1 to 5 μm) 3 μm and a second depth filter 42 of a catching grain size (within a range of 0.7 to 0.9 μm) 0.8 μm.
