TASK ASSIGNMENT METHOD BASED ON NETWORK CONFIGURATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that processing efficiency as the whole task cannot be increased in a system efficiently using a computer resource by assigning a task for executing a process to a plurality of computers: when assigning the task for executing the process to the plurality of computers, since data transfer performance among the computers causes a problem with respect to the task wherein processing contents are executed across the plurality of computers such as the task storing a result obtained by executing some calculation into a database. SOLUTION: This task assignment method has: a means acquiring network connection information necessary for execution of the task when assigning the task to the computer; and a means having a means collecting traffic information among the computers to assign the task in consideration of a network used when executing the task. The computers can be assigned in consideration of traffic performance among the computers executing the task, and processing speed as the whole task can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
