METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYLACTIC ACID-BASED FOAMABLE RESIN PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polylactic acid-based foamable resin particles which can be distributed at the ordinary temperature in a non-foamed state. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid-based foamable resin particles comprising a polylactic acid-based resin and a foaming agent in an amount of 5 to 15 wt. % is characterized in that the content of an impregnation auxiliary contained in the resin particles is 0.3 to 2.0 wt. %. Since the content of the impregnation auxiliary contained in the resin particles is 0.3 to 2.0 wt. %, the dissipation of the foaming agent from the resin particles can be depressed, and the resin particles can be distributed in a non-foamed state at the ordinary temperature without being cooled.
