FILLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enables a filling device used for fixed quantity filling and fixed liquid level filling to achieve the fixed liquid level filling by a simple structure regardless of the state of the surface of a filling liquid. SOLUTION: A filling liquid passage 34 is defined within a valve body 32 and opened or closed by a liquid valve 38 that is opened or closed by an opening/closing means 40. A liquid feed pipe 26 that supplies a liquid from a filling liquid tank 24 to a filling liquid passage is provided with a flow meter 36. A suction pipe 50 is disposed with a space round a filling nozzle 30. The suction opening 50a at the lower end of the pipe 50 is situated slightly higher than the discharging opening of the filling nozzle. When filling to a fixed liquid level, suction by the suction pipe 50 is started slightly before the liquid reaches a regular amount in filling. While the suction is continued, the liquid is filled to an amount that slightly exceeds the regular amount. Thereafter the suction is stopped. The height of the level of the liquid in the container 20 is determined according to the height of the suction opening 50a of the suction pipe 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
