DRIVE RECORDER FOR VEHICLE, VEHICLE ANALYSIS APPARATUS AND KEY MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent forgery of vehicle information including information as a fair record to be used for an accident analysis or the like, information to be used for designing a vehicle including an operational state of the engine or the like, information to be used for estimating used cars such as the traveling distance and driven manners of the cars or the like, and information to be used for analyzing the state of an air-conditioner or a brake or the like, or to prevent a malicious third party from reading and using the vehicle information for evil purposes. SOLUTION: A drive recorder for vehicles for recording on a recording medium signals obtained during travelling of a vehicle is equipped with an input section to receive signals from a sensor mounted on the vehicle, an encryption processing section to encrypt the signals from the input section, and a storage control section having a storage unit to record the signals encrypted in the encryption processing section. The drive recorder for vehicles is characterized in that the encryption processing section holds a plurality of encrypted keys, and selects and encrypts the encrypted key corresponding to the type of signals from the input section to record the encrypted signals in the storage control section.
