AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION METHOD, SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly compatible automatic document classification method capable of classifying documents with high precision. SOLUTION: This automatic document classification system is provided with a learning document database 4 storing a learning document with one or more categories, a word-category dictionary 2 storing specific words and categories in one-to-one correspondence, a link dictionary 3 created based on the word-category dictionary 2 for relating each learning dictionary to one category to be emphasized, a scanner 106 inputting a classification objective document serving as an object to be classified, and a CPU 100 finding similarity between the classification objective document and the learning document for applying a category to the classification objective document E on the basis of the found similarity and the link dictionary 3.
