SOLUTION: This merchandise history management method comprises a step for accepting merchandise attributes or the sales attributes of the merchandise from an input interface, a step for performing the retrieval of a management history database by using the accepted merchandise attributes or sales attributes as a key and for specifying the merchandise, a step for extracting management history data from the management history database with respect to the specified merchandise, a step for extracting management specification data from a management specification database with respect to the specified merchandise, a step for extracting management specification data from a management specification database, and a step for outputting the extracted management history data and management specification data to an output interface.
