Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument capable of reducing a hysteresis indication error during operation regardless of the operation inversion direction of a pointer. SOLUTION: This instrument is equipped with a driving device 16c having a rotation shaft 16d to which the pointer 16e is bonded, and a control circuit 13 for receiving an input signal for showing the operation direction and the operation quantity of the driving device, and operating the driving device 16c by a control signal corresponding to the input signal. When the input signal shows the change of the operation direction of the driving device 16c, in each case wherein the operation quantity thereof is below the half value (1/2)×Δh of the hysteresis width, or between the half value width (1/2)×Δh and the hysteresis width Δh, or over the hysteresis width Δh, the control circuit 13 corrects the control signal corresponding to the inversion direction, and operates the driving device 16c by the corrected control signal.
