Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which produces a cold-rolled steel strip, which is provided with a horizontal furnace and can perform hot-dip plating and continuous annealing and which can produce many kinds of continuously annealed materials. SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for producing a cold-rolled steel strip includes a bypass means 16 which bypasses the steel strip 11 which is heat-treated in a horizontal annealing furnace 13 used for the heat treatment before applying the hot-dip plating treatment without guiding the steel strip 11 to the hot-dipping pot 14; and a heat treatment furnace 19 which applies heat treatment to the steel strip 11 guided by the bypass means 16. The steel strip 11 is heat-treated so as to have sufficient soaking time by continuously passing the strip 11 through the horizontal annealing furnace 13 and the heat treatment furnace 19 connected through the bypass means 16.
