FISH AND SHELLFISH-REARING WATER-PURIFYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishes and shellfishes-rearing water-purifying device capable of detecting a residual chlorine concentration in rearing water accurately, and performing the control of reduction of the residual chlorine concentration in the rearing water accurately. SOLUTION: This fishes and shellfishes-rearing water-purifying device is provided by decomposing ammonia components in the rearing water taken out from a rearing vessel 1 for rearing fishes and shellfishes with chlorine, or the like, generated by its electrolytic treatment, and circulating the decomposition-treated rearing water to the rearing vessel 1, and is equipped with a residual chlorine concentration-detecting means 3 for detecting the residual chlorine concentration by measuring an oxidation reduction potential of the rearing water after the electrolytic treatment, and a controlling means 4 for controlling the electrolytic treatment with an electrolytic treating means 2 in accordance with the residual chorine concentration value detected by the residual chlorine concentration-detecting means 3. By measuring the oxidation reduction potential with the residual chlorine concentration-detecting means 3, it is possible to detect the residual chlorine concentration in the rearing water accurately.
