INITIAL CORRECTION FACTOR ARITHMETIC UNIT, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR INITIAL CORRECTION FACTOR OPERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initial correction factor arithmetic unit capable of determining an accurate initial correction factor. SOLUTION: This unit is equipped with a determination value operation means, a discrimination means for discriminating whether a vehicle is in the state of high-speed turning running, linear running, or medium or low-speed turning running, or not based on a determination value, and an initial correction factor operation means for determining the initial correction factor for removing the difference of an effective rolling radius caused by initial difference between each tire from a rotation angular velocity when the vehicle is discriminated to be in the sate of linear running, or medium or low-speed turning running by the discrimination means. The discrimination means includes a restriction processing means for discriminating whether the value of the difference or the ratio between the calculated determination value and a reference determination value determined beforehand is below a threshold determined beforehand or not, and a running determination means for determining that the vehicle is in the sate of linear running, or medium or low-speed turning running when the value of the difference or the ratio is determined to be below the threshold.
