AGGREGATE FOR CONCRETE AND CONCRETE OBTAINED BY USING THE AGGREGATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aggregate for concrete with which cracking of cement can be self-repaired, and concrete having intensified strength after the cracking. SOLUTION: A concrete repair agent 14 in a liquid form which is housed into an internal space 16 of a ceramic container 12 is used as the aggregate 10 for the concrete. When cracking 24 occurs in the concrete 22, the ceramic container 12 of the aggregate 10 for the concrete breaks and the concrete repair agent 14 in the liquid form in the container 12 flows out to the cracked point 24 of the concrete 22 and the cracked point 24 is filled up with the concrete repair agent 14 and the concrete is bound to each other. The concrete is made by mixing the aggregate 10 for the concrete and steel fibers 28, so that the cracking width of the cracked point 24 is made small, the thickness of the concrete repair agent 14 filling that point is made small and the subsequent strength of the cracked point 24 is made high.
