PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color printer that can prevent defects in transporting forms and defects of discharge, can be made small-sized without forming any dead space between an intermediate transfer belt and a discharge part for form, and has superior maintainability of internal constituent components, the device, and units. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is constituted so that a form P is carried so as to passes upward a secondary transfer position and a fixation position of a fixing device 30, at least a portion of a form receiving surface 42 of a discharge stack part 40 slants down toward a discharge opening 40, and its bottom end is formed of a tilt surface lower than the discharge opening 41, the upper extension part of an intermediate transfer belt 10 extends obliquely along the form receiving surface 42 of a discharge stack part 409 and photoreceptor drums 1A and 1B are arranged opposite to the lower extension part of the intermediate transfer drum 10.
