Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radical polymerization system which is environmentally friendly, energy-saving, precise, and capable of being processed under mild conditions. SOLUTION: The subject method comprises performing the living polymerization of a vinyl monomer in the presence of a polymerization initiator being a boron compound represented by formula 1 in an atmosphere (e.g., air) containing 20±5% oxygen at 30 to 120°C.
