AUTOMATIC BOXING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic boxing device capable of transporting the items to be filled in a received box under a stable condition. SOLUTION: This automatic boxing device comprises an arranging conveyor 6 having a plurality of gaps for use in storing the items mounted therein; an item receiving position R positioned at an arcuate portion ranging from a returning passage of the arranging conveyor 6 to its returning passage; an item feeding conveyor 3 arranged in opposition to the item receiving position R; a first sensor 12 for detecting an item mounted near an item discharging end of the feeding conveyor 3; a second sensor 13 for detecting an item mounted at the item receiving position R; and a control device 14 for controlling a driving of an endless transporting device in response to detected signals from the first and second sensors. The control device 14 is constructed to start a motion of the stopped arranging conveyor 6 under a condition in which the detected signal from the first sensor 12 is received after receiving the detected signal from the second sensor 13.
