WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the rational constitution technique of an air lift pump effective for achieving the smooth transfer of a material to be transferred while suppressing the supply amount of air to the utmost in relation to a wastewater treatment apparatus, and the related technique thereof. SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment apparatus 100 having a first air lift pump 70 and a second air lift pump 80 mounted therein, the discharge pipes 72 and 82 of the first and second air lift pumps 70 and 80 are allowed to extend in a horizontal direction from suction pipes 71 and 81 and arranged at a place lower than the lower limit water level L in the regions to which the discharge pipes 72 and 82 are allowed to extend.
