Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating a gene encoding a hyperthermostable protease of Pyrococcus furiosus, and to provide a method for producing the protease by using the gene. SOLUTION: The method for producing the protease comprises cultivating a hyperthermostable protease gene and a transformant, wherein the gene is a specific amino acid sequence or a part thereof and encodes enzyme active part and the transformant is transformed with plasmid incorporated with the gene.
