VIDEO SIGNAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional video signal display circuit adopting a configuration for switchingly displaying two kinds of video signals on the same screen that causes missing video signals because a delay between the video signals results in producing a time difference from a switching signal. SOLUTION: In the video signal display apparatus, a delay circuit is inserted to the switching signal synchronously with a plurality of video signals to provide, to the switching signal, a delay equivalent to a delay time caused in the multiplex processing of the video signals, to enable the switching of the video signals on the same screen thereby attaining low power consumption. The display apparatus is provided with a delay circuit 100 to delay a timing signal from a timing generating circuit 202 by a prescribed time to switch a changeover switch 207 thereby avoiding the generation of a missing part of the information of the video signals to be displayed having been caused in configurations of prior arts at all.
