Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that handleability is spoiled in comparison with that of prior arts because a user for requesting storage requires various procedures when using a typical storage protocol in response to a request of dynamically storing time serially consecutive digital signals such as video and audio to a signal recorder such as a disk array via a network attended with a low cost and broadband widening due to the recent progress in the network technology. SOLUTION: Many signal recorders are physically and logically interconnected by a network. When signals are transmitted to a group of the signal recorders, the first signal recorder stores the signals as many as possible. When the first signal recorder reaches a state of incapable of storing the signals, the first signal recorder gives the storage processing to a second storage device to inform the signal transmission source that the signal transmission destination is changed to the second signal recorder. The position of the transmission destination on the network is stored in the transmission source for that time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
