SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the sealed battery, after inserting and sealing a first sealing member 6 into an electrolyte injection port 5 provided at the battery can wall face or the battery header so that its upper face may be located at the lower part than that of the upper face of the electrolyte injection port 5, and after the electrolyte injection port 5 and its surrounding are cleansed by a cleaning agent, a second sealing member 7 is inserted into the electrolyte injection port and sealed.
