Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase-change optical-recording-medium in which even in high-speed, high-density recording using a short wavelength, low-power beam such as blue laser, mechanical properties and recording sensitivity are good, noise such as jitter is not produced, overwrite characteristics are excellent, and archival characteristics are good. SOLUTION: (1) The phase-change optical-recording-medium has a reflective heat radiation layer, an interface layer, a first protection layer, a recording layer, a second protection layer, an adhesive layer, and a cover substrate on a substrate having a flexural modulus of 2,000 to 4,000 MPa and Young's modulus of 2.2 to 100 GPa, wherein the recording layer comprises an alloy containing at least SbTe (in addition Ge), and the first and second protection layers comprise ZnS-SiO2. In the phase-change optical-recording-medium according to (1), in which (2) the ratio a/b of thickness (a) of the first protection layer to thickness (b) of the second protection layer is 0.1 or less, or (3) the interface layer contains at least one of TiO, ZnO, ZrO2, SiC, TiC, and Y2O3, or (4) the reflective heat radiation layer comprises Ag or an Ag alloy.
