Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of more simply and easily detecting a mismatch of a base pair to a specific base with high sensitivity by hybridization, especially a method capable of simply and easily detecting an A-A mismatch with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a reagent for detecting and identifying the mismatched base pair comprising a compound represented by formula (II) (wherein, R1is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like, and carbon atom in the alkyl group may be replaced with oxygen atom or nitrogen atom; R2and R3are respectively independently divalent alkyl groups, and carbon atom in the alkyl group may be replaced with oxygen atom, nitrogen atom or carbonyl group), especially the A-A mismatch, and a detection and identification method for the mismatched base pair using it.
