Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for an electric power steering device capable of reducing the number of parts, improving assembly workability, and being miniaturized. SOLUTION: This motor for the electric power steering device is provided with a bottomed cylindrical frame 31, a bracket 32 fixed to the frame 31 and a housing 60, a rotor 8 having a shaft 7, a stator 6 fixed to the frame 31 at the outer periphery of the rotor 8, and a rotary sensor 15 provided in the bracket 32 on a housing side of a bracket side bearing 100 and covered with the housing 60. A terminal 35 connected with a stator winding 18 and a terminal 43 on a lead wire side feeding electricity to the stator winding 18 are mutually connected from an outer side of the bracket 32 to cover this connection section with the housing 60.
