Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool presetter for accurately detecting a tool cutting edge. SOLUTION: This tool presetter has: a spline shaft 12 supported in parallel to a main spindle via a bracket 11, an arm 13 fixed to a tip part of this spline shaft 12; a pair of presetter sensors 14 and 14 installed in a tip part of this arm 13; a protrusion-retreat driving means 15 for protruding-retreating the arm 13 between a storage position and a measuring position, and stopped in a revolving position together with this arm; a rotational driving means 16 for revolving the arm 13 between a storage angle position and a measuring angle position; and a coupling composed of a fixed side coupling 17a fixed to the bracket 11 and a movable side coupling 17b fixed to the spline shaft 12.
