Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe stopper of a tundish for continuous casting which enables a speedy operation in a repetitive use of the tundish and also a parallel use of a plasma heating device and the stopper in the boat-shaped tundish. SOLUTION: The stopper, having the function to open and close a discharging hole located in the bottom of the tundish for continuous casting, comprises a double-walled steel pipe composed of an inner pipe and an outer pipe, and is equipped with piping for a cooling fluid between the inner pipe and the outer pipe.
