SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING DATA, METHOD FOR THE SAME, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transfer of a data communication byte even when an optical transmission communications device having a different communication protocol exists within an optical transmission path network. SOLUTION: An optical transmission communications device A2 transmits the data communication byte of an optical transmission communications device B5 to an optical line (b) to an optical transmission communications device A3 as it is. Regarding a byte in the optical line to be transmitted to the optical transmission communications device A3, a byte which is unused by any other functions in an MSOH (this is described as a data communication transmission path byte) is allocated. The optical transmission communications device A3 transmits the data communication transmission path byte of the optical transmission communications device A2 as it is by using a data communication byte in an optical line (c) to an optical transmission communications device B6.
